Follow the steps below to add your scheduled meetings on VivaPair to your preferred app.
This calendar is a live subscription link. When you add the link to your calendar app such as your phone or laptop, your device subscribes to a live feed hosted on our website. This means:
- The calendar on your device updates automatically when changes are made to your VivaPair schedule
- Meetings are added/removed based on your VivaPair schedule
This ensures you always have the latest schedule without needing to re-import anything.
We still recommend you to check your VivaPair account regularly for most accurate updates as sometimes calendar apps can be slow or not always up to date.
Below you will find a set of instructions for the most usual devices and how to add your calendar feed.
If you need support with adding this calendar to your device, please let us know.
Note: This must be done on a computer.
There's no "Android Calendar" app, and most phones use Google Calendar, which does NOT support adding subscriptions directly in the mobile app.
You'll need to add it once using a web browser.
The calendar will automatically sync to your Android phone
Open the Google Calendar app
Make sure the new calendar is enabled (in settings if needed)
If you don't want to use Google Calendar:
Some third-party apps do support direct subscription, such as:
- Microsoft Outlook app
- Other calendar apps from the Play Store
These may let you paste the link directly on your phone.
- Updates are not instant - most apps refresh every few hours. Apple usually refreshes more often, while Outlook can take a bit longer to update.
- Your calendar link is private to you but anyone who owns the link can view your events
- The calendar is read-only - if you need to make changes to your calendar you will need to contact us directly via email.
Once subscribed, your calendar will behave like any other calendar on your device - you can:
- Show/hide it
- Overlay it with your personal events
- Get reminders (if supported by your app)
- Change the colour scheme, rename it - depending on the calendar app that you're using
Calendars update automatically every few minutes to hours.
Keep your calendar link private.
